B pillar / door frame trim removal?
Can anyone tell me how the black trim is attached to the door frame? As far as I can see it is a separate component.

There's a small screw on the inside of the door at the opposite side of the black trim.

In case anyone else ever needs to know, the black trim is stuck on with a single long strip of VHB. I tried heat from a hot air gun, but I'm sure the bond was designed to withstand heat from direct sun. I couldn't get it hot enough to release the adhesive for fear of blistering the paint.
A thin bladed scraper, or knife about 3" long will get to the foam tape from the glass side of the trim, then just pierce the tape all the way down until the trim falls off! Easy!
