Any tin tenters out there got a recommendation for a good breathable groundsheet? My Softex one is past its best and SWMBO wants a new one........in a nicer colour

Cheers Sean, I think that's the same type as I've got ie rubber material with perforations in. I need 7m of it so still a bit of dosh which is why I was open to advice on alternatives. Anyone got the more woven type groundsheets and can comment on them?

Mine is the same as yours, but my parents have the woven type. Find it very slippery with wet feet and it still has to be lifted after 3-4 days or the grass goes yellow!

ground sheet
what about trying the square rubber mats with holes in, that fit together like a jigsaw?
They sell them in packs of 4 (or 6) at The Range Stores. I prefer them to ground sheets as they will allow the grass to grow but don't get slippery. They're much easier to wash and store than conventional groundsheets.

I quite like the check pattern, must see if they do them in grey. Not sure about the modular interlocking ones, I thought they were fairly rigid which is fine if the pitch is flat but if it's up and down I thought it might stop them from sitting together properly?

we use the locking ones in the entrance to stop the grass turning to mud, sort of like duck boards, just need 4 or so, can be pegged at the corners.
