Automatic Transmission 'Plastic' Drain Plug

Has anyone had any experience with these plastic drain plugs?

They seem very fragile and are only torqued to 8nm.

I managed to break the first plug when tightening, it seems to have a clicking mechanism a bit like safety bottle tops on cleaning products and never seems to fully tighten?

I have since completed the second flush (a garage having done the first) and all seems well, but I am looking for reassurance over the fitting of the drain plug.

Oddly enough the level/filler plug is a nice solid metal nut, I wish the drain plug was as sturdy?

Any help appreciated.
