My automatic gearbox not working |
|
hello friends,
i would to share a little issue ive been having with my D3 v6 land rover. its a tiptronic and after having to change a flat tire, my automatic mode (gearbox) doesnt shift above the 4th speed and consequently my revolutions are too high.
what i do to in order not to burn the engine, is to change to manual, and then shift to 5th and then to 6th gear. i would like to ask if anyone has had this problem with their LR? and if so, what and where was the problem as i have taken it twice to the Land Rover authorized garage and they havent been able so far to solve the problem. thank you for your help. merry xmaz

Check the tyre size you've just replaced. Mine had a wrong profile tyre fitted and it made the gearbox not change up in the way you describe.
If your tyres arent the same size, it could be the cause. Check the pressures too
