Having just used one of the rotary controllers for just one day, I certainly hope not too! Considering that it started in the Jag and has been spreading out to each new model and facelift since then, then it would seem highly unlikely.

Yes... believe it is for 2013! Thumbs Up
The flappy paddles will remain so you'll have a choice on how to 'command-shift'. Makes a lot of sense to me. You don't have to look at the stick each time you shift or reverse and the flappy paddles are often in the wrong place because they rotate with the steering. Just my opinion, I'm sure there's a few who got used to the dial... but I can't think of any advantages?

Can you think of a single example of any Jaguar or Land Rover that's reverted from the dial to the old lever?

Nope? (apart from the 2013 disco that is)
But then paddles and dial work fine in a vehicle on-road or racing.

So you know for certain that they're going back to the stick, 100%, CC?

I don't understand why they would do that as it would mean that they'd have to spend money changing the production having just changed it to the new design. It doesn't seem that it's been emotive, or has there been some significant failure or reduction in capability that is driving the change (assuming you know it will change)?

And if you know it will change, do you know what else will change?

From the customers perspective, it would seem a very odd move indeed.
