Auto glass

How useless are auto glass , I phoned them up whilst in Luxembourg with a stone chip in my windscreen and crack told them that I wanted a genuine windscreen with the Landrover logo and nothing else also told them that to give them time to have everything in place that I would be in Italy in a weeks time after our stop in Switzerland, we will after contact your insurance company for authorisation they call me back after three days all sorted, took my car in today and they wanted to fit a cheep non genuine windscreen no chance goodbye I am know waiting for a genuine windscreen and a new fitment date hope they wave the excess fee as it’s a 60 kilometre round trip X2 plus extra lost holiday time Censored idiots

You won't get an after market screen with a Land Rover logo, they are only factory fit.
What you will get ( eventually Rolling Eyes ) is a 100% the same screen without the LR logo.
Land Rover don't make windscreens, they factory fit Pilkingtons Opti-Kool so this is what you need to ask for. Wink

Good luck but don't expect an LR branded screen because you might be waiting a very long time.Thumbs Up Mods:

I have had phone call from auto glass uk apologising for the mix up they are know chasing up why the pilkington glass with the Landrover etching on was not supplied as authorised and as a good Will gesture £25 off is the excess genuine glass from a he factory on the way leaving Italy a week on Thursday let’s see if it gets fitted in time Thumbs Up
