Again! Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

Drive (SMH) had their Car of the Year.
No surprise 4x4 over $40,000.
The new Toyota Landcruiser.
Hasn't been properly tested yet.
They did say that it was very close with the Freelander 2.
But the contenders were:
Audi Q7
Landrover Freelander 2
Toyota Landcruiser 200
Toyota Kluger WTF?
Kluger was the winner in the people mover section.
No Landrover Discovery.
Typical SMH. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The SMH awards are typical of most awards in Oz, they are only for new vehicles released in the last 12 months. The best car awards are exactly that, the best vehicles in each category currently available. Most of the Oz 4x4 magazines and newspapers do mention in their editorials that the D3 TDV6 is the best but is inellegible for the award as it has been on the market for more than 12 months, LC200 will get all the 4x4 awards for the next 12 months, BUT it does not mean that it is better than the D3. 06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.
