Saw a number of posts on this some months ago so try seaching
I have Aux Port in the back so then just use one of the cigar lighter/Aux connections to my iPod. You have to control it from the iPod tho which is a faff when driving,

Another alternative is to conect an Aux cable to the passenger side kick panel next to the glove compartment, there should be 3 wires connected to a block ( red, blue, black) if I can remember correctly. You can either run an Aux cable direct from there into your Ipod or if you want more control whilst driving theres a bit of kit called the Harmon Kardon drive and play, selling now on e.bay at around £29.95, which I have recently fitted to my D3, lets you control the Ipod whilst driving and has a separate lcd display to show track, now playing etc same as the ipod, the sound is good as well, the only downside is there is more wiring involved . There are a few posts on this forum with pictures to guide you.
