audi drivers are coks
just wanted to say a really big thanks to the audi driver who gave me such a big laugh during the local floods this weekend. Id just moved to the right hand lane, gone to offroad height and slowed to 25 for a particularly impressive council maintained puddle/lake when said audi, affronted by my speed and existance hit the horn and throttle and undertook me. I estimate he hit it at 40, at least 12 inches of muddy water. Funny but he didnt look so macho sat stationary in the middle of it. Big up to him for backing the claims of the top gear team! I had to park up around the corner wiping the tears from my eyes.Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Transgenic tomato anyone?

Should his fame extend to the local paper, please scan the photo and post it, so as to enhance the experience.
Oh, and for the mechanically-proficient, does the loud knocking noise from the exhaust of a friend's diesel Merc indicate that she went too deep through the local floods?Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I'm sorry to let you down guys; no photos I was too busy finding somewhere safe to stop so I could clear my eyes and see the road again. I'll have a check of the local paper just in case though; you never know your luck! As to stopping, I'm more than happy to stop at the scene of an accident (my definition is an unforeseen circumstance or event) but as everything he did was on purpose, I classified it as an Intention and moved on Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Drive out the otehr side, clear eyes. Attach tow rope to rear, drive back through and offer him a tow out. If tow accepted say "The rope's on the back, hitch up yourself." Drive off nice and slowly, and stop when safe o do so. Chrage him £XXX.XX "Tow out fee". Make onation to site from proceeds - every cloud has a silver lining.Rob Smith
