@BGTRAP, has the change of the steering sensor solved your DSC problem? I would really like to know as my D3 is doing the same, but the steering sensor seems ok as it displays the right wheel position in the information display.

Hi Frank, no DSC changing was definitely performed as we previously found out a problem to the front/left steering arm which was damaged. Once this was replaced the problem to DSC immediately disappeared.
Hope this could be of help.

DSC light coming on in tight left turns
I have had this problem for more then two years, when finally with replacing rear suspension bushes it was solved.
The fault in the rear suspension caused the car to lean over it's front right wheel in tight curves, this caused the DSC system to intervene as it should.LR3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 2005
