Had to throw out an anchor yesterday morning when travelling along the single track road from our house... (it's lethal - blind corners etc).
Getting used to cyclists with a death wish biking 2/3 abreast on blind corners coming down hill at 40mph with long braking distances, but almost piled into a load of horses...
I realise that people think it's safer to travel more than one abreast, and being a quiet little road they expect it to be deserted, but people they'll have no chance.... My Grandad used to say:
"He was right. Dead right. But he was just as dead as if he'd been wrong".
Anyway, rant over...
Was seriously pleased with the AT2's breaking ability. Had expected to skid a lot or for the electronics to take over as I really lent on the brakes and it was a little wet. Stopped very nicely and in a straight line. Phew. 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

That's good to know John
Last year I attended a D3 gathering in Spain and we had access to a skidpan/runway type track. I was running AT2s in 18"
I did a few runs alongside a standard D3 (i.e. factory fit Pirellis) and in the dry my braking distance from a full-throttle acceleration to "stamp on the anchors when you pass this line" was only 6 or 7 metres longer than his.....bear in mind that my D3 is remapped and was hitting 110km/h as it crossed the line.....
Considering my higher speed, I would say that the braking distance was very close to that of a D3 running factory fit tyres.....
The most impressive one was when we repeated the run after the sprinklers had been running.
Both of us took an extra 5-7m to stop....hardly any difference compared to the dry run....
The ABS system on the D3 is fantastic... 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

The AT2 is one of the best, even my wife has noticed the improvement over the BFG which were on her L/Cruiser prior to fitting the AT2's.
We only get great feed back on these AT2's, shame we still have no 19"
