Hi Everyone.
I just recently upgraded to a Disco 4. I did not notice the knocking sound at first. When I accelerate from a stationary position, even in my drive way, I hear a knocking sound for a second or two. If I accelerate very slowly, I do not hear a sound at all. I also do not hear the sound when driving at normal speed on tarmac or gravel.
I first heard the knocking noise when I was driving on a gravel road after raising the suspension. It is a 2013 Disco 4 SDV6 8 Speed Auto which has done only 121,000 Km. From your experience, can it be the ARB bushes that needs to be replaced or can it be something else more serious? I am not sure how the knocking sound should sound if the Anti Roll Bar Bushes requires replacement
Can some one please assist?

Welcome
It could be the ARB bushes but it could also be lower control arm bushes... I think.
I had a similar problem with clunking/knocking when driving over potholes and decided to swap the ARB bushes first. The ARB bushes, bolts and nuts were relatively cheap compared to swapping LCAs. I replaced mine with originals, some people have preferred polybush or super pro (etc.) instead.
Anyway, the problem went away with that.
