England 2015 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 SE Tech Auto Montalcino RedDiscovery 4
approved extended warranty

Hi All
My Discovery is nearly 3 years old, (March 2015) . I had intended to buy warranty extension for one year but have seen comments on the forum that Land Rover/warranty company are turning down claims related to broken cranks. Does anyone have experience of this happening or is it a rumour?

Thanks in advance

United Kingdom 2013 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 Commercial XS Auto Baltic BlueDiscovery 4

Just declined to buy it for these very issues plus extortionate servicing costs.

Service pack just arrived from Advanced Factors (half-an-hour ago) (proper job) and Indy booked for a week on Friday.

£993 for a 96k service............... it's just a joke.

Unreal isn't it? They wanted £800 for a 24k service for my D4. I sold it a week before the service was due!

I renewed my Warranty Direct policy for £800 in September. Since then, they've paid for the front wheel bearings, a new EPB module and a new alternator. I've recovered around £2k in the last 3-4 months on my £800 policy....

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
