Wanting a tow bar mounted 2 bike carrier and the Thule ones seem to be best value, are there any pros or cons of these 2 or do any users have any opinions. From what i can see the 972 is cheaper but i imagine you need a light board and numberplate for use on the D3 to keep legal which would put it at a similar price to the 9502.
Are the 2 carriers as stable as each other?

Its a cracking carrier, and before buying had my doubts. It has two thumb screws that allows you to droop the carrier enough when loaded to allow both doors to be opened.
Very light and easily stored

Thanks guys, the pictures have helped my decision, that was my favourite but wasnt sure how much it stuck out the back end or what it looked like, the Thule site isnt much help.
