We have a similar bag thats just the right size for 2 low-lid ammo boxes. It is made the same as the cover of a rooftop tent, and is waterproof unless you submerge it, which I hope you won't be contemplating. Very easy to chuck onto the rack, and great for the stuff you can't fit in the car at the last minute
