Anyone had satnav trouble last couple of days??


Got in my D4 yesterday and noticed home screen had the current position as belgium. Put the map on and it thought i was somewhere on the outskirts of Brussels Big Cry . I checked the nav was set to GB and it was but said no GPS signal.

Today i had to find an address and used my D4 and it was still in belgium!! So i dug my phone out and went to google maps and that was same-No GPS signal Shocked

After about an hour the car nav sorted itself and the phone at around the same time. I know its been windy but surely not enough to blow satellites out of orbit Rolling with laughter

Anyone else noticed anything similar?? Previous Discos

United Kingdom 

Belgium is the default location, you may need a new GPS antenna. Have a search on the forum for similar issues. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

but would he have also got no GPS on his phone maps/sat nav
sounds like a possible problem with the GPS signals, possibly caused by the bad weather interfering with the ground stations and reception. Not unheard of.

(p.s. many moons ago I worked in military satcom environments, but they have come on in huge leaps since then) 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Everything is good now but seemed funny that both my car and phone had no GPS signal? Previous Discos
