I need to drag Ady out with his tool sometime in the next few weeks to do a bit of clearing. Lambriggan / Penwartha is drivable...just....or was 2 weeks ago.
As for where I've been...work mainly
Oh, and my D3 is now a member of CLCC
Probably goes some way to explain why its so frequently broken

Must admit, the first day I turned up and told the pre-event vehicle inspectors I planned to compete they looked quizically at the car and said "Looks alright to me. Nice and shiny! Don't know what this is. Nor this. Nor this... Drive on!"
Unfortunatly the tires (19" MTRs) keep letting it down, though. I'm thinking about putting some Super Swamper LTB's on 17" BMW rims with a Jackson lift kit...but it's a little pricey and only means I'll break something more expensive Oh...and they don't fit without a bit of...erm...persuasion
I know of best part of 100km of D3 friendly lanes in Cornwall, now. Some need pruning and some are quite challenging

I'm afraid not...especially not "in-season" or near St Ives. There are a couple of very short 'beach' drives around the Fowey and Fal estuaries, more tidal crossings then anything. They are mentioned on Wetroads.co.uk. St Michaels Mount crossing is now residents only / prior arrangement. Whilst there are plenty of beaches and dunes you can get on too you are not allowed to be there (except if launching a boat or working for the rescue services).
