Anyone got a wiring diagram for D4 heated front w/screen?
I am not getting any power to the left hand side of my D4 front heated windscreen. Fuse seems ok and as I think the relay powers both sides and the RHS is working, I assume it is ok.
I am also getting continuity through the windscreen to earth.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi hughMartin I am sure it goes straight to earth, when switched on is there a 12 volt feed to one side?
If so the other will should be ground that's how it was on my old 2011 Defender.

Hi,
Right and left side of the window have different fuses - 40 A. 40 A!
The current through each glass 27.5 amps. Resistance of about 0.4 ohms.
You can pull out the fuse and test the heater on the ground. Using a multimeter.
On the right and left side of the window there are connectors. Sometimes connectors are burned. You need to remove the left and right covers and check the connectors.

Dependent o year the D4 does not always use a standard fuse, they use a thing that looks like a square diceMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
