Anyone got 'non LR' rear roof LCD screens?

Got MrsP approval to install some screens for the little monsters - don't like the price or the 'rear view mirror' problem with the LR screen, anyone on here got any roof screen installs?

I've been in discussion with Prestige and their dual 7" installs and they are looking top at the moment, though I'm also not adverse to installing some screens myself, though I have some concerns about ensuring good fixings, and also worried about damaging the headliner - anyone got any experience of doing this themselves?

And also has anyone done the Prestige route?
If so how well do they work?
Is 7" big enough!!! particularly the third row?

Thanks in advance

RichieP!

Same question, also looking at the Prestige setup, hopefully someone out there has taken the plunge? Confused

I've two screens fitted in mine. DVD player in the upper glove box. Two pairs of IR headphones and they work a treat. No issues with someone in the third row.

I looked at a few options, but the price of the LR unit was a bit much to take. The equipment I have should set you back around £500'ish as the LCD monitors are coming down in price all the time.
I also based mine on how often it was actually going to be used. At first it was all the time, but now hardly ever.

Hi Wiggs,

It's this one....

http://www.veba.uk.com/productsNew/av2405.html

It does fit in without having to cut a section out the back, although it is tight. The only cuts are to allow the cables thru'

A quick google and you'll get this for about £80.
