Considering picking one up one but want to see one on the old D4 nose first as opposed to the D3 one.

Grill arrived about an hour ago but doesn't fit!
There is a molding either side which I assume is there to stop light from the headlight passing behind the grill. This molding fouls the flange on the inside of the headlamp.
Looking forward you can see the headlamp flange which fouls the step down molding.
You can also see the new grill has a double stepped molding unlike the original.

Wow. How disappointing.
I'd been chasing these guys for this grille for months and it came in stock just at the wrong time really with Xmas. I'd been asking for pics of the grille which weren't forthcoming and also asked for pics on a car when it came into stock but they didn't have a D4 donor. They could have asked me and I'd have been happy to give it go but they seem to have missed a trick to try it first.
Can it be remedied? Not that I see why you should have to.

I can't swap them but I can remove them from the new grill.
Quality is pretty good but needs fettling to look right. The chrome is twisted up at the horizontal and needs strong double sided tape to fix it into place. Number plate stickers should do it. No light shines through behind the grill when illuminated, maybe I'll have to wait until dark to confirm. The badge is the smaller size so the same as the tailgate version. I luckily had two small ones sent in a pack so had to buy the bigger version to fit my existing grill, then bought this grill. Now I can fit the big one to my old grill because I'd ruined the old one getting it off and the small one fits this. Now I need to either fit black lettering or remove the silver and fit some black side vents/handle replacements. Then onto my wheels and side tubes??? What did you do, grind the plastic off the new grill untill it fitted?

Tried the lights on in the dark and there's no leakage of light into the grill. Makes me wonder what the moldings do, unless it's strengthening for driving at speed??
I called Powerful UK when I received the grill to tell them it didn't fit and was told I would get a call back from the technical Director, I didn't and now they're closed. On the D4 grille, the plastic mouldings are there to help the airflow through the grille channel to the rad and IC etc, I guess these were to do that too, you'd think they'd have test fitted before release , I know they don't make the pasts but .....Altox GSM FBH controller thread
