Shocked Must be a German (or Berlin) thing as it is not the case in France, Portugal or Spain. But franckly, I doubt it very much.
One for all here too AND they must be inside the car, within reach of the driver as you must be able to get it without leaving the car. Most folks here have one draped over the drivers seat, I keep mine in the seat pocket at the back of the drivers seat.

Drove from Calais to Nimes last year in mine.
Best car I have evre had for a relaxed journey on motorways even with 3 kids in the back
Just set the CC , sit back & relax Thumbs Up

Nope not me...were there end august....only ever spotted 1 other D3 at the Millau viaduct
I do wear my disco3 sticker in my rear window though & have some OE sun shades!!
Gironde this summer for 2 weeks , nr Pons
