anybody used this french site: Sequoiaparc
its time to start trying to find caravan sites already. Anybody used Sequoiaparc. Website looks OK, although looks like it could be a very busy site, full of English tourists
Done Castels sites quote a lot, and some are good, others just too damn busy/popular.

We're toying with going back to Ty Nadan this year - yep it's a Castel but it's a lovely site.
Happy to get any recommendations - was thinking about doing a Portsmouth to Santander ferry then taking 3-4 weeks to head back to Blighty taking in 3-4 sites.
Alternatively was considering heading to Vendee/Dordogne areas for weeks 1/2 then 2/3 spent in Brittany
Pin Parasol is recommended and I'd like to try there.MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Recommend St Jean de Mont, vendee
Plenty to do there and central to areas like St Gilles/la Rochelle etc
We have stayed at La Yole several times, lovely site with good indoor and outdoor pools
Have toured there in the tin tint and also several times in their selection of very modern statics with decking etc ( only a little more expensive than touring without the extra towing time and ferry cost)
It's not packed full of Brits, but has an international customer base, and is extremely clean, tidy and friendly, ring direct rather than book a package, we save approx £400 by booking ferry separately and booking site directly. About 4 hours from Caen/Cherbourg taking in the sites....................................................................................................
If my wife ever sells my stuff for what she thinks I paid for them, you lot are gonna get some bargains!

Now we've done Dordogne & vendee loads of times, and like the areas, but looking for new/different sites.
Done Pin Parasol twice, and its full of Brits, and too busy.

I tried Lake Garda on a whim whilst travelling from Venice to North West Austria. Stunning place. Never seen so many different trees planted in the gardens of the homes overlooking the lake. Found out later that the Cypress tree was a status symbol for the rich in years gone by. Truly a beautiful place with wonderful people. Not a Brit to be seen anywhere.FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. No - changed areas in the end, so now have a site in the Loire valley for a week, then out to Finistere for a week and a half.
