Well it was you that did it, not us!
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. After all, the emerald isle has a temperate climate.
As far as brand is concerned, I would suggest that either Paddy or Powers Gold would work equally well - though not when mixed with red lemonade.........

Omaha forgive me but why did you have to top it up as I believe your car is quite new?

Don't think you need to worry, but why did you have to top it up anyway?

To be that low, is a concern. Was it full or to the level on delivery?

As long as you've used the same generic type of antifreeze you should be fine - there are two types to my knowledge, OAT (organic acid technology - used on more modern engines but not exclusively) and the older style 'normal' antifreeze. Not having a D3 I don't know which it uses
For a small top up you'll be fine 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

That may be your answer, but certainly check it from now on until you know if it is OK or you may have a problem.

I topped mine up a few weeks ago and had to buy the coolant direct from an LR dealer as no where else stocked it. I wouldn't worry about it too much and unless the coolant you added was a completely different colour then LR will never know what you have filled it with.Disco 3 TDV6HSE Cairns blue auto

Might it be that he's got the infamous "Low Coolant Level" message, which has nothing to do with the coolant being low in a lot of cases (mine included). Just a faulty sensor on the bottle, but dealers can't get hold of them at the moment.
Just a thought. Coffeecup

I am sure he said he had checked it and it was about 1 " low, but had not checked it on delivery.
