Censored on a stick, what a load of carp. Amused to see people in the SouthWest are most likely to support the idea of needing permits to have a 4x4. This would be the SouthWest where every other car seems to be a 4x4 and anyone not driving one is a retired NIMBY who has moved from somewhere else in the country when they've run out of useful things to do with their lives.

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Best of it is it says

"More than half of British adults would like to see permits introduced for 4x4s ..."

but right at the bottom it shows that they only interviewed 2,255 people!

So what it should say is that out the UK population of 50+ million adults, we found 1172 adults who don't like others having a 4x4!

Anyone else think they are simply trying to jump on the anti 4x4 band wagon? Wink

well Virgin likes to target the younger generation with it's products & services, they probably think the pseudo 'eco' generation will schmooze up to all this Censored . as it's unlikely they can afford a 4x4 'chelsea tractor'. All I can think is wait until a part of their consumerist lives is targeted by the PC bandwagon & see how they like it.....
