Another Trolley Jack Query.
I haven't had a chance to get a trolley jack yet. But a mate has a heavy duty 3 ton jack that he doesn't need & he'll let me have.
It's max. height is 483mm, not sure if that's high enough for using on the D3.
Anyone know if it is?
Thanks.

Poss not an exact answer, but if it helps ...
Mine lifts to 520.
When lifting it doesn't seem to be anywhere near it's limit.
There's not a lot between 520 & 483.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
Never thought of this, i've been jacking up Disco's for years off the solid axles, dead easy. where do you jack up on now

Officially, you jack at the jacking points.
personally I'd rather not.
There's some pics in my gallery that show the angles & heights involvedLong succession of Disco's since 2001...

Thanks for the replies.
I guess I could always just put the trolley on to a piece of solid board (it's only going to be used on my level, concrete, parking area).

If puting it on top of a board, just be prepared for the Jack to roll as it centalises itself during the lift.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
