Another pdc module problem

Hi to all , since I bought my disco 3 a few months ago my pdc system has never worked , just a flashing light on the centre console and front parking sensors inactive on the dash information
So far I have repaired both front and rear harnesses as I found they both had some broken wires, replaced the rear sounder which now beeps when selecting reverse, but the IID tool dtc codes are telling me there is no power to front or rear sensors

I have checked the continuity of both front and rear harnesses and there both reading pretty much bang on 1 so I'm guessing my last resort is a faulty pdc module,
I have been looking for a second hand module but see that some have different numbers etc , and wondered if it will matter ie mine says ywc500313 but seen plenty with 312 at the end and wondered if anyone could shed some light on the matter ?
Since repairing the harnesses and sounder the rear beeps now when I select reverse but does nothing and the light does not flash anymore
Added below screen shot of IID dtc and module

I would disconnect the pdc unit and see what voltages are at the connector - if power is okay then possibly faulty unit

Spooky got the same error, mine stopped a month after I bought mine last December then decided to work for a while in November packed up again last week. Was just about to order 2 new looms so I think you've saved me an expense, will watch with interest.

Any of the 8 sensors can cause this error message, or a wiring short.

I would recommend you unplug the front sensor loom below the R headlight.
Clear the codes. (yes it will complain about invalid front sensors)
select reverse with park brake off.
and see if your previous short code returns. If it does, it probably one of the rear sensors faully.

If the code has gone, you can edit the CCF to say rear sensors only fitted, and the rears should work, until you get round the fixing the front sensor.

I suspect the different in ecu number is due to the behaviour of when the front sensors are enabled.
Early cars enable them automatically when car drops below 10mph

Cheers for the replies guys
Ok so I've been messing with it tonight and Pete you are correct I disconnected the fronts and hey Presto all the rears now work correctly , so I guess it's just tracking down which front one is at fault
Least I didn't rush out and buy a module Laughing
I thought the iid would tell me which sensor but I guess not

What is the best way to find out which one is faulty ? Is there a specific way , I'm guessing the terminals are battery positive , neg, and signal wire?

The looms were really easy to repair m8 , harder taking the bumpers and mud off Laughing

Only way really is to have 2 fronts plugged in see if they are ok and plug another in etc.

Did you change the CCF to rear only ?

Fronts won't work as such, just need to see if it knocks the rears out and/or generates the fault code in first post

leave rears disabled. That should still do what you want.

You can tell, as soon as you plug the front loom in, the rears should stop.

Then you can mess around removing various front ones!
