Another Megaflush?

2010 D4 6-speed with 115k miles.

I had it megaflushed at around 4 years old with £42k miles - not much difference.

Had it done again at about 90k miles but this time I had the transfer box and both diffs done. This made a huge difference in smoothness and gear changes *but* after 2 weeks it gradually started going back to the way it was, maybe over a few months. Nothing to complain about just not as good as hen the oils were fresh.

It has since has new front diff oil thanks to needing a new driveshaft - no difference in the drive, and old oil looked healthy.

I'm considering getting the transfer box (have the oil here ready) and megaflush done again purely because it made such a difference last time, but can anyone explain what happened last time? I'm thinking its more likely the transfer box that made the difference last time - maybe it was re calibrated at the time?

Probably not of much help to you but I found this regarding gearbox flushing:

Perhaps a "Megaflush" isn't quite enough.

Well,

It's has a tin of BG245 through it on a full tank. Then a full service, gearbox flush and transfer oil change at Mastora, Alnwick. Definitely better with the TC hooking up much quicker and smoother plus smoother changes. I live up a steep hill and its behaving much better climbing up there at 20-25mph.

Will report back if it starts deteriorating again.
