So by not sitting the traffic jam your D3 is more environmentally friendly than all the other cars that had to sit there, belching out fumes, particulates and CO2 Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300

I have a similar kind of diversion I can take on my way to work (when in Stockport) - I have used it a few times too!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

the road looks like passable for any car except a ferrari-style car however....
soon a lot of people will be knowing the bypass
Maybe then it wil become after a while so bumpy that you will need extra height

The byway can get a bit slippy in the wet. Yes you're right anything with some ground clearance would manage (perhaps a little slower than I did ).
Glad I wasn't in the Smart Roadster this morning

this is my main road to the work:
Otherwise I can travel off-road to work and will have to pass only one road... Only when the crops are harvested.
