| Another fuel gauge thread |

I have searched and searched and found many posts with the fuel gauge going to empty, etc when full. On my 2010 HSE LUX, no matter how much fuel I stuff in the tank, the gauge will always display 1/4 tank low. It will not register full bar.
I have an iid tool and was asking what I should be looking for. No fuel related codes have popped up. Could this be a clue that the sender in the tank is kaput?

A friend had the same issue and a bit later the car started juddering and he had to do something with the tank....new sender or something.

I had the same problem with my fuel gauge after a short while with it on empty it went into limp mode and then shut the engine down completely, restart and shut down again every 300-500 yards!
Problem solved by replacing a connector inside the fuel tank, cost me about £180 from memory. Discovery 4 HSE 2010
