Another FBH question - maybe linked to 'fix' of temp gauge?

Ambient temp gauge 'fixed' last week - first time ever (since new in July 2015) get out of car after decent run - engine temperature up to normal according to gauge - ambient temperature 7 degrees - hear whirring noise from engine compartment a bit like a fan running when a car is hot.

Never heard this before - even when temperatures down here in the 'balmy' (I wish Rolling Eyes ) SW have got below this.

This along with the 'disco fart' and 'tingling' noise ..... is all rather disconcerting.

Could this really be the first time the FBH has come on - because the car finally recognises its a bit nippy - even though the car has been out for a good half hour and is well warm?

I'm Confused - should I be worried?

Mine makes several different noises once parked up - from both front and rear.

Will be down the road from you from Sunday if you want to do a comparison Thumbs Up

Is the front a fan/whirring sort of noise?

Sounds normal to me, mine does it all the time, but then it's a lot colder in East Anglia. It's just the FBH running on to cool down after you switch off the engine. It should stop after a minute or so.
