Another cruise control upgrade question

Hi all, I have a recently bought a 2013 D4 in GS trim (albeit with a few upgraded features) but am missing cruise control which I would very much like to add.

I've done some looking around on this forum and other sites and whilst I realise there are many posts about the subject, while I think I understand correctly, before I shell out any cash could someone please confirm I've not missed anything.

As I understand it I would need to purchase the steering wheel controls.. Such as these..

And then remove my steering wheel to add these switches onto my existing wheel.
I would then need to have the cruise control enabled using a faultmate or autologic tool?

Have I missed anything, do I need any additional wiring or components or is it really that simple?

If it is that simple is there anybody in the Manchester or Derbyshire area who could enable this for me and how much does this generally cost?

I'm loving the new car but already finding lots of potential mods and upgrades I'd like to do, so no doubt will have more silly questions on the way Smile

Hi Bodsy, thanks for the prompt response. I'm in Glossop, so not too far away. I work in Stockport though so would depend which days/times you were in Buxton?

Do you know if what I said above is correct? I just need to buy switches, fit them, then enable?

Thanks to both of you.

I've just ordered the switch controls from flee-bay. Order should be delivered to me on Thursday but wouldn't be able to install them till Thursday night after work at the soonest, then I'm away Friday afternoon till Sunday, so would probably be looking Friday or some time next week. (Providing I don't have any issues removing the wheel/installing switches)!
If it's the same as the process for the D3 I watched a couple of vids and looked simple enough so fingers crossed Shocked
