Another air suspension fault...

Hi, today I had the Suspension fault C1A20-64
I couldn't see any obvious leaks with soap water around the Hitachi pump, Inc the end cap where the two pipes come out.
My scanner said 1310 kpa and 100c temp as the pump stopped.

Am just wondering if poss anything else before I replace pump with another Hitachi or maybe AKM.?

Thanks

I have a few bubbles from around the blue port but bot sure if thars enough to cause the error, yiu can't hear it.
I guess it's weather any one thinks a repair kit would be worth it or straight to new compressor.

The compressor runs when needed and then does a louder rattle and stops.

Thanks

But is the small amount leaking from the blue pipe enough to cause this.
I have seen lots about replacing the end cap as cracks can cause thar error and now I'm thinking my leak may be enough to trigger it.
The pump sounds strong as inflates pretty quick.

It's coming from the blue collet so think would need a new end cap. Dont think I have a crack.
I just don't know how much is enough to cause that error.

might as well refill the drier while your there its easy enough to do and it will save it needing doing when it fails

Waiting for drier and end cap kit to arrive, I started removing the compressor but the lower smaller rear pipe is stuck.

Is easiest route to cut that pipe at a straight point and use an 8mm joiner?

You can replace the drier without having to remove the whole pump. Driver is only held on with a small Phillips head screw, you’ll need a dumpy (short) screwdriver to get at it as it’s partially at the back. Once screw is undone, dryer rotates about quarter turn and then pulls off. Much easier than trying to get the full pump off.

yes there a 8mm fitting in the repair kit , mine was melted in the fitting i did get it out once cut and on the bench , i use a hot air gun to make it soft and with a scriber i managed to get it out,

the other fix is drill it out and tap and thread for a fitting , there is a repair kit for this to from https://4x4airseals.com/product-category/landrover/discovery34

Just an update.
I fitted the new filters, beads and end cap and so far appears no leaks or errors.
I have only cycled the heights stationary but will have a drive at weekend.

I initially forgot to put fuse 26 back in and got a " both switches...". Something error!!!!

Thanks everyone

So everything was OK stationary going up and down fine but short time after driving I get an hdc error followed by the suspension lowered again.
I didnt the hdc error before!

Not sure if braking is triggering the hdc one?

This is what I have before clearing

I'm going to concentrate on the Yaw and steering errors first as this all starts when I drive.... One for tomorrow...
