Annoying rattle/vibration

Has anyone else had their centre roof alarm sensor housing rattle when the stereo is on? I thought at first it was coming from the passenger door but after sitting in the other seat I found out that it is the rather cheap plastic housing in the middle of the roof.

Does this just prise off? I want to stop it buzzing as soon as a decent bass kicks in - no point having a Logic 7 system if you can't crank it up!

Doesn't seem suitably drastic to mention to the dealer but it is bugging the hell out of me!!

Cheers m'dears

I had exactly the same problem & like you it took me a time to figure out where the rattle was coming from. I had the unit replaced when the car was serviced last month & it seems better now.

I did try hitting the unit & trying to wobble it to get rid of the creaking, but with no luck.

aha....mine does that, will check the roof now!!!!

It is damn annoying...almost as annoying as the rattle coming from my nearside middle row seat when it is its normal position....... Evil or Very Mad
end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
