Dash noise on mine came from the center speaker on the dash, pulled grille of and stuffed all the orifices with sponge  , made a rubber gasket for the grill and replaced.
Another noise i thought was from the dash came after i had a windscreen replaced...after weeks of going mad i found the culprit...took off the center light section on the roof and all the wires were rattling against metal/glass.
Again filled with foam and it dissapeared.
For other noises, just buy some MTRs and a roofrack..you wont worry about dash noises ever again!!  "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

mine had an annoying rattle. simple cure. i divorced her and banished her to kent!!!!!  2008 D3 SE auto, Java black

I have a 2007 LR3 HSE (Left hand drive) and have started to notice a rumbling/vibration under the foot well on the passengers side. Doesn't seem to coincide with anything I do but happens every 5 to 20 seconds.
Anybody have any ideas?

No chance it is a loose exhaust heat shield? I understand D2s did that and the heat shield system disintegrated if ignored. Or am I barking in the wrong forest?

I have a more metallic muffled tinkling sound on a light throttle at 2,100rpm which sounds like a loose exhaust baffle - but there aren't any...
Must try 10's trick and if no success try lying under the vehicle whilst driving on a light throttle  2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

Dealer did a software update to stop a vibration on start up, it also occured at idle on an occasion and gave an engine fault.
