Amber strobe lights in Front Grille
Don't know if anybody would be interested.
But whilst sat at home during the Corona virus lockdown, I thought that I'd try to mount a couple of LED Amber strobe lights in the front grille of my base 7 Discovery 3.
As my car is a base model it does not have the front bumper mounted fog lights. But it does come with the necessary wiring loom.
This makes it far easier as all the wiring is there ready from the front bumper in to the car's light switch.

I wanted to be able to switch the Amber Strobes on at any time. (As long as the ignition is on).
Normally the Front Fog lights require the Dipped head lamps to be on (I think?) Or at least the vehicles Side Lamps to be on.
You can by-pass this & fit your own simple on-off switch that you can turn on or off at any time.

I seem to be having a few technical difficulties with this post... please bare with me.
Hopefully I can come back to this & edit it further! EGR pipes blocked & refitted.
Butterfly valve removed.
Dash clock.
3 flash indicators.
Xenons with Cornering lights.
De-tangoed with Side marker lights.
Tinted windows.
'See me home' lights front & rear.
Cruise & Audio controls fitted.
Remote start FBH.
New belts & Oil pump upgrade.
Full length roof bars.

It's about the only photo that I took. I just used a small length of aluminium and made 2 x right angle brackets.
The wedge in to the standard grille with a bit of jiggling around & I used a couple of cable ties for extra security.
