Altox app

Hi,
Looking for some help with the Altox app.

My heater only stops alight (smoke seen)for approx 3 minutes before I get error 5 .

Looked at the diagnosis on the app and I can see the heater temp rise then after about 2 mins the flame sensor changes from no to yes then after about 3 mins flame sensor changes back to no.

So questions are-

1) when lit and working ok should the flame sensor say yes or no
2) Do you think a strip down an clean would cure the error 5.

Error 5 description-

Flame was detected prior to combustion1) The reason for the air intake pipe or exhaust gases. 2) The reason for the fuel system. 3) Check the pump dispenser. 4) Check the electrical system pin filament.

My flame sensor says yes while the heater is lit Mark

The flame sensor will only say YES when the FBH is running at proper speed/burn.

Three minutes sounds like it’s started running up and then goes to cool down mode. Bodsys Brake Bible

Yes it does light ok because I get the smoke but doesn't stop lit.

Some Smoke just means that the Fbh glow plug and fuel pipe is working, it will shut down if there’s not enough airflow through it. Bodsys Brake Bible

had an email that looks to be from Altox but seems to have a few errors in it ... noticeably the altox website link says Altox.run and not altox.ru.

i'll email them to make sure it's not dodgy ... unless anyone else has already checked it out ?
