to be clear, i forced the venting and NOTHING lowered. i manually vented the front down via the voss fitting at the d-block. i left the rear up so i could inspect the body harness plugs.

yeah i'm certain the exhaust valve is fine, the entire compressor assembly is brand new. i did replace the reservoir valve, i wonder if the front and rear blocks are knackered too. i have a replacement for the front block, and my spare tire is already down... maybe i'll have a look at that while the truck is decapitated.

i have read online that the muffler/silencer assembly capping the suspension air discharge line easily gets plugged with debris after a failed compressor/dryer combo. this is the piece in question:

i've got no idea where to find it though. i don't suppose that the intake is boffed, as the truck skyjacked itself in less than 2min.

Haha I’m well aware that I’ve got the ‘06 RRS, but thanks for clarifying the application of that bit. When I do a more attentive search I come up with this, which is a little newer than my rig but similar to the pic.
http://miamibritish.com/shop/land-rover-ai...-silencer/

It does look more similar to the one in the pic, and I’m pretty sure I remember glancing at that thing and wondering “what the Censored is that” when I was fussing with the rear body harness plugs.

I am sporting the hitachi compressor

BTW, when I was attempting to deflate the bags with the nanocom and I heard all the clicking from from front and rear, I identified the rear ticking as coming from these relays here:

Hi

Just put that there to remind me more than anything of what landy u had Laughing

Silencer should indeed be the one in ur link

There suppose to click like that as there releasing air, if they were to open like a normal solenoid so to speak the air would be dumped in seconds, they open and close very quickly so it’s controlled

Thks ref the hitachi , for the life of me couldn’t remember

So got to see after u deflated it why it would lower on its own

See if that exhaust pipe removed from the dryer helps first

If not will be the exhaust solenoid , need to test it’s getting power to it when instructed to vent

The voltage req should be in the pdf suspension manual, I’ll double check it’s there

Found some more info , apologises if you’ve seen it before , has the ohms and voltages

Also there’s a bit about the ABS , would be worth checking the live data for ur wheel speed sensors to ensure there all the same

THANKS TO ALL

hey everybody, i just want to say thank you to everybody who contributed their time and energy to my RRS.

after many months of waiting while while my IPC was shipped, held, and eventually returned to me... i just got it back (untouched by turner diagnostics) today. with the help of alexbbs on nanocom, i was able to install a used IPC to the truck, and now all of the "crash mode" problems are gone. i have cleared all faults, and i'm only getting the occasional error from the air suspension pressure not decreasing when venting.

it's alive!!!!
