Mixed driving- lanes, single carriageway and towns. 7 in car for 1,300 of the miles
Averaged 33.9 mpg (car's now done 2,000 miles overall so I expect better in the future as it loosens up further)
Beyond my expectations by a country mile!
Couple that with diesel price of €1.04 / litre gives approx fuel cost per mile of 10p [yes I know- mixing my metaphors and units liberally]
This is more than 50% better than my old petrol Galaxy, and almost at the level of my old FiestaDiscovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles

And you got flamed eh ?
Looked around their forum and most seem quite constructive about 4x4's for towing. The odd (Kangol ??) poster is just a one line freak that is obviously too poor to even own a caravan or even a car !
So hates everything he cannot have.
