Probably the bonnet switch. Damaged or broken. I repaired mine or you can replace.

I second that the bonnet switch easy way to confirm is to remove the plug of the switch and short it out

I had the same thing earlier this year.
Turned out no to be the sensor, but the bonnet catch itsel was stuck local stealers tried just freeing up the catch but eventually had to replace the catch completely to stop it.

(was done free under the extended warranty though) Laughing

I had the same problem. Just shorted the switch with a bit of wire / paper clip.

Yep been there too.

For me though it wasn't the alarm going off, but not being able to lock the car without a blast from the horn every time I'd had the bonnet open for some reason.

After flushing out the catch etc with WD40 and not getting a result I 'adjusted' the thin metal strip that activates the microswitch.

This involved hooking the right angle end of a scriber under it and bending it up slightly so the catch attached to the bonnet touches it sooner and activates the switch.

I'm convinced the arm bends over time having the catch constantly pressing against it.
