Airconditioning problems

My 2008 disco has a problem with the airconditioning. In general it is giving cool air instead of cold air. With the regulators on maximum the air outlets on the right side are giving colder air then the ones on the left side. A difference of about 10 degrees. Anybody a suggestion where to look for the solution.

Try a hevac reset:

With ignition off press and hold the ECON & RECIRC buttons whilst turning ignition on (no need to start car).

The control module will then compare the current HEVAC actuator motor positions with the values stored in the module and will indicate an error by flashing the ECON LED.

If there are no errors, the LED will go out and the system will function normally.

To confirm that there are no errors, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then back to the ON position.

Observe the operation of the programmed defrost LED.

If there are errors present, the programmed defrost LED will flash and the system will attempt to calibrate itself.

Thanks for the quick response. I did the test. I kept the switches depressed and switched the ignition on. the Econ led was flashing. After a while it stops and the airco starts working. Nothing happened after that.
The unbalance in temp. is still there.

Wouldn’t low on refrigerant mean ALL the airflow would be warm, not just half of the vehicle?

Depends on the pressure in the system i think as that's what it was doing on my sport which was low on gas/pressure Thumbs Up
