kwik fit are doing a deal of £49 quid and if it dont work you can take it back for a free recharge so if they put oil and dye in it you should be able to locate any leaks with a uv light and take it back repaired and play a bit dumb i know some people have done this my car was actually over gassed the first time as this will stop them working as to much gas shuts the system down Discovery 3 se gone

I have also aircon probs. New engine installed, airco did work but it stopped on our trip to Spain (off course... )
5 days later, after a checkup and diagnosed that the pump is the only yhing that could be broken (no faults, enough gas (how do we know that there is to much gas in it???) The airco did work for a 30km trip...
After that trip it did not work again. Dealer added some oil to lubricate today but i did not try the aircon yet....
Q1> Is there a fault code when the heater module is broken?
Q2> Is there a way to check there is to much gas in the system? Car has been treated by official dealer...

You need to read the fault codes or see if there is any gas left in it as if it's got a leak the gas can come out quickly you can read the air con pressure with an IDD tool or similar Discovery 3 se gone
