I have just made two trips one of 1,000 miles and another 1,500 miles towing the caravan. At some point in these journeys the D4 decide to become lop sided. The near side is some 2 to 3 cms lower than the offside. Any ideas as to why and what is the cure?

Certainly when parked. I noticed it as I walked to the garage. As to on the move I had not thought about that. Will get Swmbo to drive while I run along behind. Better borrow her mini!.

If it happens after being parked up for a while then it could be a leak. Otherwise it might be a fault height sensor?
There is a guide on here for checking for leaks by using a worksheet, pulling a fuse and measuring over a period of 36hrs.
You might need a diagnostic tool to read live values for the ride height to see if a sensor is the cause. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Problem solved at long last. 2 new cross over valves fitted. Time will tell if fix is permanent.
