The valve is fitted on the side of the dryer held by two screws, however you need to remove the end cap also to check its clean, remove the voss connector and you will be able to twist off the end cap. Take care not to cross the threads on reassembly.

Lube any seals with silicone spray or a smidgen of petroleum jelly before reassembly.

So ive ordered the silica gel and filters from eBay and cleaned everything but only a mild amount of black dust

The exhaust valve was pretty much clean! Is it worth me buying a new valve?

All the suspension works fine when it works but corner too hard or raise and lower too much and the fault comes up

Ignition off and on again and you can carry on as normal

If you have faults occurring when cornering you either have a faulty height sensor, or the wrong suspension height calibration. Even so, there should be a fault code to support that. Scan with IID after the fault occurs but do not switch of the ign until you have read the ecu's.

You can test the exh valve with small elec current before refit to establish it works.
(or better still use IID)

Personally I think it’s height sensor as well but when I took to the garage he reset the codes and then I raised and lowered the car till it came in again and was still exists code

I’ll stick a current across it and see if it clicks

So have rebuilt the compressor and cleaned everything

Took it for a run and lifted the suspension a few times and all seemed ok

Got home after about 2 miles and warning light back on!

How stiff was the exhaust valve when you took it out? I had an issue with mine last week, it was solid. Ended up using an extractor in the hole in the top to rotate it out and nothing would remove it.

Could yours be the solenoid on the side?
