Ok, I've been fighting to get my air suspension working again. The ride is incredibly harsh since the fault. We have a new born and my back is beginning to suffer. yellow flashing light as well as the red suspension fault light. Ride is extremely extremely harsh, fault codes u0132-86 & u0132-87
I plugged in a replacement Air suspension ECU, the replacement got rid of the yellow flashing light but didn't do anything to the suspension and the red suspension light stayed on. A JLR specialist (so called) 'The Lanny Man' Sutton St Helens did a 'thorough' diagnosis (at a cost of £216) and confirmed it's the Air suspension ECU.
I've had conflicting information that the replacement ECU should work as its a plug in and play I would just get vin mis-match code. Other people sat it has to be reprogrammed. My replacement didn't resolve the issue as mentioned. Advice is more than welcomed as I'm not sure what to do from here.

Oh to add to this I sent the original Air suspension ECU off to ECU Testing Ltd who do not even have the equipment to diagnose it so that's on its way back.
I get the 'suspension fault' message and 'special programmes off' message.

What made you change the ECU? Did you check whether the compressor runs okay?

Because I had it looked at by a specialist who said its ECU. Compressor is only a months old, is there a thread which shows you how to check the compressor?

The simple test is to remove the compressor relay from the battery compartment. Turn on the ignition, and using a paper clip or similar, jumper the two large slots where you removed the relay. The compressor should run; if not, check the 60/70 amp fuse near the relay.

To help with info.
What was the yellow flashing light?
If the red suspension light is on I would expect more codes (other than U codes) , which should help pinpoint the issue.
If you don't have a code reader, get an Autel AP200 in WHITE, (older the better)

Hi bridged the terminals on the air suspension relay and it fired so at least I know that works. I tired to add a photo but doesn't seem to work on mobile.
