Air suspension conundrum

I have owned my D3 from new in feb 2005. Just lately the suspension has been dropping over a few days. I pumped it up and removed the 5a fuse as a first step to diagnosis, expecting one corner or one end to drop. However the car stays level, but still drops. I can't understand where the leak can be. Any ideas please?

I thought 20A too (under the bonnet)

Somewhere on here there is a picture of the correct fuse

F26?

Right hand bank, roughly about 6 in from the front . Happy to report that mine appears to be no longer dropping after the new front air valve block.

I think from memory F3 provides status info back to the suspension ecu, like the compressor relay operating

So the other possibility is F26(20a), which has the same descriptor as F3. I'll try F26, but can anyone say what is the control difference between F3 and F26? Obviously, removal of F3 does not prevent periodic self- levelling.

F26 removes all power from the air suspension ecu., so prevents levelling

F3 is just fusing a feedback wire to protect the cable (it will look at this signal when the car is started)

So, just to conclude this, F26 indeed disables the periodic self- levelling. After 5 days the front has dropped evenly, so it looks like a front valve block cleanout is required. Many thanks.

I couldn't find an air leak, but when I disconnected the electrical connection at the front solenoid block, the front suspension stayed level for 24 hours. So, I have definitely not got an air leak, but assume the controller is telling the front block to drop the suspension - which must be an errant signal from a ride hieght sensor? Any views from the experts here?

Just changed front and rear air valve blocks. (Rebuild didn't work)

Odd to see my V8 still upright after a week. Rolling with laughter
