I ordered a box of goodies from Steve the other week, some parts to fix a few issues, upper suspension arms still to be fitted and a few bits to just swap out on service, wipers, filter etc, in my box of goodies were also a pair of the interior LEDs that AF are now doing
And the replacement units for the sidelights
I've used a few cheapo LEDs in the past, some good some not so, this was the first real venture into "quality" lamps
So after doing a few jobs and giving the D3 a good clean I put them in
I have to say, I'm impressed, the interior ones are nice and bright white light the bulbs have both a sideways and a downward light, at night I think they'll be fantastic, I put one in each of the over head centre lights
And the side lights well, they are sonething else, they have a little fish eye lens on the front, just like the roof lights on my Prospeed, so they have fantastic forward light as well as some side mounted SMD LEDs to light up the.lamps reflector for all round light

And map reading lights, front & centre.
ISTR my car soaked up ~18 bulbs, the only ones I didn't change as the indicator repeaters as made them look too yellow as opposed to orange.

Think I fitted 8 so far. So 10 more it is then. No don't fancy fitting resistor so the repeaters will be left well alone.

Side repeaters were ok for me without resistors but the issue I had was the el cheapo 501 LEDs that have a slight blue tint so changed the orange to slightly yellow. Just didn't like it so changed back to the original bulbs.

Hmm surprised they didn't need resistors. Might give it a go see how they look with my smoked side repeater lenses

Pretty sure they didn't, I didn't notice the dash flashing faster than normal. But I may just not have been looking.
