Advise on replacing original door handles.
I bought a set of body coloured outside doorhandles. Has anybody replaced them before? Obviously I need to remove the door panels but is that enough the reach the internal fixation?

Utter tosh ..the handles can be removed in about 2 mins..
The only thing you have to wary off is the smaller part ..the clips break off . If you have a new set ( i presume 8 parts ) then this wont matter ( replacement bits are about £3. each )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Remove the smaller part by squeezing the top in and remove ( beware the clips are likely to break ( £3 each from LR )
Then slide the bigger part towards the rear of the car ...then lift outwards ...thats it
The only exception is the passenger side with the lock ...open the door and there is a small rubber gromet on the side of the door ..remove that and loosen of the screw a couple of turns ..that releases the lock .
If your replacing them with colour coded ones you should have 8 parts , so it dosent matter if the clips break.
I removed all mine to get sprayed .G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
