Advice Small laptop Glove Compartment.
Advice
I am wanting a small laptop for the D3, ideally to fit in the glove compartment. I,ve read the thread regarding the Dell but want something with a bit more memory.
Also the best place to take an ignition supply to charge the laptop.
I have internet acces via my phone Nokia 6500s, could i use this to connect the laptop to the internet.

Cant help with the laptop but here are a couple of choices for power
This one is live all the time ( or depending on what model year ..it could be the terminal below the one i have plugged into ) this is fused from fuse 65
Or ignition wire can be either traced from the purple wire from ciggy lighter plug ...or get one of these and plug it in fuse 55

The Dell mini, 9 I suspect may be the only one to fit in the upper glove box as all the cords connect on the sides.

You will need to raise it to slot into the recess on the glove box door:

You can increase the RAM to 2gb and replace the 16gb SSD with a 32gb SSD. Then put in a 32gb SDHC card in (will 64GB be enough?) You can also add as many flash drives as you like.
Do a search on google, you should find instructions on how to do it. It looked fairly easy from what I remember.
