Advice re Selling
Hi
Asking for a friend....
Without going into details, an acquaintance is having to get rid of his D4 (MY12 plate). I don't know much about the vehicle.
If he sold on here, is he likely to get a better price than through a private sale or as part of a trade-in?2014 - D4 2010 HSE Nara Bronze

Can’t see why you would get a better price selling through the forum, over a regular private sale?

He’s probably looking at a more focussed and knowledgeable market with the forum.
If it’s a good example that’s been maintained with help from, and is known to forum members over a period of time, then he might find someone who is prepared to pay a little more for a better car.
Other than that, no he will not get anymore than selling it on eBay or autotrader, in fact, if it’s got faults, forum members are more likely to spot them, as generally they are educated and researched on the vehicle type.
