Yes... I got a 300w panel from amazon way cheaper... around £140 from memory... it does the job perfectly.

That’s more like it! £500 ish for the full set up is as much as I want to spend.

Thanks all for your suggestions, as with everything else it’s easy to get lost in all of the information available online.

well you (s60r) must have another "amazon" than i have overhere Cool

a 300 or 400W FOLDABLE panelset of quality cannot be found these days for that kind of money as far as i have seen..

clickbait maybe yes, until you click the actual wanted WATTAGE and there she goes..

400Watt is needed to charge a ordinary auxillarry battery, when a fridge etc. is used on it..

even on very sunny days, there are still clouds mostly ... let alone a few cloudy days during your trip...

i use a snowmaster fridge, reasonably low on current, a twin battery set up (yellowtop), with a solarpanel setup... and believe me... you need serious wattage from the sun when not driving the motor for a few days.. those batterypacks, everybody is talking about, they stil need (re)charge and 100 or 200Watt doesn't do the job with a fridge attached..
 Best regards
Harold

If you have gone as far as a gas stove, why not a 3-way fridge and use the gas for that too?
